Play while helping
WeTopia is this brand new fantastic game that allows you to play, for free, and help the world at the same time. No, seriously, you can actually help contribute to the real world of needy children just by playing the game.
It's legit, even Ellen has promoted it on her show:
I don't know about you, but the moment my sister introduced me to the game, I was hooked. I'm all caught up on earning "joy" points, which allows you to send anything on the game's current list of help to the real world. It is both meaningful and fun. Most importantly, it's just another free Facebook game. You know how caught up we can be with Facebook games, this would just be another convenient one on the list.
No seriously, go play it, just type into the search function, "WeTopia" and viola! Start playing. Oh yes, just a tip, follow what ever the quests ask you to do, easier to remove all the quests that keep popping out of nowhere.
Their help list currently has:
Haiti Hot Meals
Haiti Hot Meals 2
Haiti Moline School
Haiti Medicines
U.S Change Program
U.S Literacy Program
Haiti Health and Nutrition Program
U.S. Mobile Dental Clinic
Haiti Flamands School
U.S. Summer Enhancement
10 organisation for you to choose to help. And more! Africa would be joining this list of Haiti and U.S organisations soon! I love anything fun and free so I highly recommend you playing this.
I've always thought of giving back to the needy children in the real world, like those who has HIV in Africa or are hungry and dying in Haiti but I never knew how to. Especially at this age, I just don't have enough money to help that whole nation. This game is the quickest avenue for teenagers like me to help play a part in this world. I think that we should all try to save the world. And I am so thankful this game has found it's way to social networking sites that we all after 90s teens use so often. It's sheer genius.
