Gaga
People, I have some news that will make so many people RAGE with jealousy. Let me do this subtly.Oh yeah, I woke up so early yesterday to do this. Okay I woke up at 8.10am. And it's also for the Academy Awards. So it's not entirely Gaga. But I did give up some sub-awards to settle the tickets in between because of the stupid fucking internet connection that refuses to work in the morning. I am gonna be there, on 29 May 2012, at six plus seven to rush in and get a glimpse of Mother Monster. I would be at the balcony seat so I'll probably get a lot of Gaga's cleavage or something. I need to borrow someone binoculars JUST IN CASE. I don't know how far it can go or how near and I don't want to risk it. Oh my, so excited. I couldn't get the tickets initially because of the stupid AMEX presale that is completely biased and unnecessary. Don't they know they are dealing with LADY GAGA? Opening that presale is unfair and infuriating too. >:( Argh, so pissed just thinking about that. But anyway, I currently hold these tickets and I know that I would probably have to skip school or this but I regret nothing. Absolutely nothing. The Oscars went on pretty boring. I expected more from Billy Crystal since I've heard all these rave about him. The atmosphere just was very blah and it just doesn't bring the excitement in the audience to their maximum. I did scream when this happened. So overjoyed. I literally jumped from my seat screaming "YES!" Thankfully everyone else in the house is too busy to bother about my over-enthusiasm over a 63-year-old lady who live in a country 8800 miles away from me. Now on a hindsight, it's pretty sick for me to be so obsessed with her. But she's worth it. Boy, I'm so happy for her. Well the rest of the awards were pretty much split between Hugo and The Artist which isn't surprising. Kung Fu Panda 2 should have won over Rango. I love Po. I hopped on to the bus after the Oscars to meet Keh Jun at Plaza Singapura because I had pretzel craving. He was like half an hour late. Basket. I just hung around the basement reading my 8 Days. Bloody hell, he always only wake up when I leave house. We ate Pizza Hut and had the Beef lasagne meal cause it is the only one that is worth the buck. I mean, the alacarte is already $9.90 but the entire meal is $8.90. They serve their lasagne really small portion now. I remember it occupying the entire space of the lasagne bowl. Now it's rectangular and takes up about 3/4 of the bowl. I guess they are sick of people not finishing their lasagne or something. Then we head to buy my pretzel! :D He owe me the pretzel cause he was so late. We went about the entire mall. Daiso and Marks and Spencer. I bought a couple of rubbish from Daiso and food from M&S. Then we got bored and head to Starbucks. Keh Jun simply can't get enough of the drinks from his own workplace. I'm just like seriously? But the stuff he recommend is really nice. I don't usually buy anything from Starbucks. Cos I don't like coffee. I like to smell coffee. But I hate drinking it. I can tahan cakes and icecream and bread but for some reason, just not the drink itself. -shrug- Currently downloading Kramer VS. Kramer and also My Week With Marilyn. #toolittletoolate Labels: food, lady gaga, MERYL STREEP, movie, Oscar |
