Who doesn't love free food?
So I head down on Tuesday to Cafe Indulge to redeem my voucher my mother bought on December and I finally found the energy to travel there. But the voucher was supposedly expired as the website wrote that it is only valid two months from purchase. And it was purchase on 19 Dec. The voucher, however, wrote that it was valid till 31 Mar.
I went ahead and tried to redeem it anyway. Kind of like confront them. It was really deserted anyway. It was like two plus, three. So I guess since it would be easier to just let the voucher through and never see us again, we got our meal eventually.
The place was rather nice. The furnishing and everything was classy but the ceiling definitely need some more help. I liked the black floral furnishing and all very much. And the cushion chair is extreme comfortable.
I ordered salmon while my sister ordered steak. She don't know how to order the perfect steak. Actually, she don't even know how to go about it. It's funny.
The soup of the day came first and I don't even know what it was. It taste like light gravy with meat in it. It's surprisingly not disgusting as it sounds. And it was pretty good, to be honest. I mean, if I drank the entire bowl of soup, so can you.
The meal honestly came like this. With prawns too. That wasn't included in the picture so just use your imagination and top the dish with some breaded prawns, bitches.
I loves the fries and the prawns were very very fresh. I was not a big fan of the salmon. I don't know why, maybe because I'm used to more succulent salmon and that was not as juicy. That's the closest critique I can associate it with. The service was fantastic. Well, mainly because we were the only customers. And the food was good. I didn't have to pay because of the voucher so technically I had a meal for free. I ate without paying. LIKE A BOSS. I should have said, "Charge the bill on me" and walked out with extra swag. >:) Anyway. Cafe Indulge is not a bad restaurant to check out for good food and semi-fine dining. I highly recommend the prawn. it's so awesome. Labels: food |
