Living life like I'm in a dream
I managed to survive this entire week without stepping into a doctor's office. But it doesn't mean I haven't been through hell and back. I took crazy care of my body this week and showing up prepared and ready for any unforeseen headache. I had my panadol and I kept racing out of the class to get a cup of hot tea. And I ate stuff that involved the most minimal amount of MSG. Even though I think the fish porridge would have a ton with the soup. But it is delicious so I applaud their deception. I was dying on Monday and Tuesday without Yuk Sing as my outlet. All the pent-up frustration from not bitching. And all the anger building up from the moment I stepped out of house till Wednesday when she is FINALLY back. And I was unwell. So I was not feeling good both physically and mentally. And a little spiritually too. I need new spectacles. I had my eyes checked when my sister went to get new ones, and the right one is apparently the cause of my optical headache thing. So I need new ones. I wanted to get contact lens instead but eyes like mine is always advised otherwise. And I don't need them just yet. I am just waiting to be of age and no longer staring at books or googling for information to get a lasik surgery. I have to stop studying if I want perfect eyesight I guess. Study took away layers and layers of my once-perfect eyesight ten years ago. Boy, I really let myself go since then. So up till then, I need a pair of glasses that doesn't identify myself at the green/teal lover all the time. And I probably need the lens to be those type with protective layers that allow me to see in blaring sunlight. But it seems fucking expensive. So does the really great ones that doesn't allow scratches or smudges. Argh, why are necessities so expensive? It's like healthcare that doesn't cater to anyone. God damn.
