I went to Nook yesterday to redeem my rainbow pancakes that I had in my inbox forever. There is a ton of perks liking their page cause there is always an offer available for students. And even more for NP students. So that's great. I've been there before, for the free flow of pancake for students, again, free, food, cheapskate, ME. I only had the pancakes and nothing else so I didn't blog about it. But anyways, if you want pictures of me making pancakes/eating them here they are. I was with my sister so I probably didn't take most of the photos I'm gonna upload in here.
I don't even need to read the menu so intensively but it's all good for the photo composition.
I like how they decorate it. Yeah I went when it was halloween and the place was decorated to its core. Fun, I get it.
I love that skull, even you can see the entire thing cause of the lighting. But it's stylish.
It was definitely fun making art out of pancake but when we exit the place, our tummies were packed to the core. Pancake definitely makes you full. I wanted to try the cheeseburger soup but there was absolutely no room, not even for desserts. So this time I'm there, I made sure I taste the food on the menu rather than just the menu on the wall. They do serve good food. It's not insanely horrid cause they are a pancake shop so they don't need to care about the freaking food on the menu. I loved the salmon bagel they have. I have never eaten a bagel before so if that's what bagel tastes like, I am so ditching doughnuts for good. Okay, maybe all donuts except Dunkin's.

Let me try to list the flavour accordingly. Mmm, strawberry, orange, original, pandan, blueberry(?), and coffee.
I have no idea what flavour this was but it sure is the prettiest. (cue bedazzled eyes)
The Cheeseburger soup. It seriously taste like a cheeseburger but me and my godmum both found it to be a little too salty towards the end. I do appreciate the cheese and minced beef, it's like my two favourite things in a broth.
This is their egg benedict and I ordered the one with bacon. Their bacon is insanely good. Not too salty and just the right amount of grease.
My favourite of the day, the salmon bagel. I like smoked salmon cause it looks raw but it tastes cooked, which always blow my mind. And I won't get diarrhea from it. The white cream on the top is their cream cheese for the bagel and it tasted heavenly when spreaded on top of the bagel. Massive thumbs up.
I love going there because their service is always fantastic. They refill your cups without you asking and I barely have to raise my hand to order cause they always just seem to read my mind about such things. Like the moment I raise my head from the menu and look towards them by 10 degrees, they will zoom to our table to attend to us.
There is not much of a packed crowd there too so I love it. I always like having the restaurant partially to me, cause that makes me feel powerful. I delude myself that I booked the entire restaurant and hey, don't lie that you don't, bitch.
I would definitely return there again, if I have the friends to spare time for me to go with. Nook is not a place for loner cause the food portions are pretty big so you would need at least one food loving party to be there for you when your own food loving tummy is bloated.
