I am very excited this time of the year, because it is the award season. And it is the mashup of everything I love in a span of about a month or so. There would be the whole who is wearing what and who would win what. It's combination of fashion, films, fabulous musical openings, and a whole bunch of eye-candy all made up to feast on. It's pretty sad for the celebs though, now that I talked about it. It's like they are in a circus for us as audiences to entertain. And I would be watching movies that should be watched because they can potentially mindfucked the hell out of me. Just as how Black Swan did to me. But so far so good, I'm still relatively sane and inspired by the movies I've watched. I still have four more Oscar nominated films to watch. I would probably watch Silver Lining Playbook in the cinema because it's reviews seem to goo to be viewed without THE experience. The whole surround sound system, big screen with amazing closeups and non stop watching without blinking or pausing as I eat my popcorn. Though I wouldn't be eating popcorn cause it has iron in it that slows down your brains and therefore making on "stupid". I only eat that when the majors are over. So that's like, twice a year. This year's nominees are exciting. Jennifer Lawrence having her second nomination at the age of 22, the 9 year old girl, Quvenzhané Wallis, in Beasts of the Southern Wild being the youngest ever actress nominated, Ben Affleck's Argo receiving promising praises, oh and a whole bunch of love for Les Miserablé. It's really cool. It's really promising too. I am a little shocked that Leonardo Dicaprio STILL haven't have one nomination. Not for Django, and I don't think that The Great Gasby would be a better bet. But my fingers are still crossed for that poor hard worker. Anyway, the award seasons has started so if you wanna follow the fashion trends and all, you can check out my sub-blog.
