Everything you need to know about what such courses are about
I spent Saturday running errands and clearing up my disoriented list of things to do. I had filming on Sunday and I cannot afford to waste a single minute the day before. There was the props needed, scenes schedule to be confirmed and the many different variety of shots to capture in hopefully half a day.

Sunday saw a long day for me. I was half dead after I reached home at 4pm. Filming is definitely the hardest during a production.

It was tough, and that was just the basic and easy things to complete as a trainee, uncredited producer's job in a no-budget video. But I like it. I love every minute of sorting out the schedule and solutions for the unforeseen complications that might occur the next day. I was still met with a lot of hiccups but the video is currently undergoing editing so that is one thing off my list. I sincerely hope the video does not turn out a disaster because of even more unforeseen situations like late submission or audio mistake.

I had Open House duties on Monday. Thank goodness it was the afternoon shift though. So I did not have to pick myself up half-dead in the morning just to drag my ass to school. I met and explained my course to a lot of potential students. The crowd was great and manageable. Those I talked to really were just like me last year at Open House, contemplating between Chinese and English, aka, Chinese Media & Communication or Mass Communication. I get that Mass Comm is always the more prestigious one, since Ngee Ann Poly was the very first school to offer that with really edgy equipments, but I love what I learn in my course despite the fact that I'm not the more Chinese inclined student in the class. It is fun, and exciting, especially to study and immerse myself with a more regional based curriculum that is relevant to what is really happening now in our country.

I can't possibly learn about Hollywood with no front runners to look up to. There is no actor, producer or director currently sought after in that scene and it's sad. I do want to be the first but I always feel like a goal is never to be achieved overnight. I need to steady my base in my homeland, then expand my culture invasion, like how Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan managed into the kungfu scene in Hollywood.

Moreover, I am really bilingual. Multilingual if you include the language I can speak to purely introduce myself. I can't go further than that. Except that I can say "I am proud of my body and breasts" in Spanish. I'm not that talented.

I am fluent in English and Chinese. I love both languages and balance them relatively well (at least people understand my speech). I can't deny that side of me that love the languages by taking a course that restricts me as such.

Have I been blabbering? Yes I do that... Anyway, if you need a review about the difference between CMC and MCM, here you go.

By the way, after visiting Singapore Poly and learning about their Media & Communication, I can say there is really no difference in the content of subject modules we learn. In every single media/communication related courses, that is. We all learn about everything in the media industry, from print to film, from design to journalism. We all touch on a little bit of psychology, I am currently having a translation module, it is all connected. Don't fret which school will give you a better education, they all provide the same opportunities with minor tweak in modules. Some is present, some might not, but those that are not shouldn't be that important.

And if you still are unable to enter with your results, during JPSAE they are really just concerned about your language skills and how well you present your talented self so they have a easier time allowing you into the course.

Tertiary education is really made simple now... Huh.
