Bear with my goodbye
I understand that half my readers don't even watch the things I watch but since 30 Rock had aired its finale last night, let me just speak my goodbye on my space. The finale was one of the best I've ever witnessed. I mean, my favourite was F.R.I.E.N.D.S because it was extremely bittersweet and touching with just the right ending to the perfect show. But 30 Rock's was just as perfect in its special way. It was funny yet touching and those scenes that you know you are supposed to cry, you just want to laugh at the same time. Every character have their own version of the perfect ending which makes it so incredibly amazing. You have to give credit to the flawless writing. Which is basically what makes the show so incredible. The writing is funny and smart and one of a kind all at the same time. 30 Rock really is one of the greatest shows that graced my life in this generation. I aspire to be someone like Tina Fey and I thank her for whatever she has done for women in general. She is a smart writer, hilarious comedian, and a great wife/mother. She is a feminist who takes no shit and paves her own way in her own unique pace. In the industry she is in, she is a survivor and a legend. 30 Rock is one of the few shows I watch every week for guaranteed laughter and that's rare. I watch about 10+ shows every week and amongst those, probably only Modern Family and 30 Rock are the guaranteed feel-good tv shows there is. I started watching it pretty late but caught up quick enough to enjoy the best parts of the entire series. 30 Rock is one of my escape for the week, and now that it ended, it's hard to say goodbye.
