I just can't wait for this to be over and done with
I have a love-hate relationship with the Chinese new year. I love it because of the new year goodies and money I get for staying alive. But I hate it because I have to mingle with the people I hardly could hold a conversation with and 50% chance, I already hate them throughout the year. But it can go either way. I finally decorated my diary of the year. This time I employed no help, not even my sister. I broke the tradition of having her do all the collages on my books on a yearly basis. But she still does it better than me cause I don't how to mix a torn-piece with a unregular-cut-piece on a regular-cut-piece. She is pretty skilled on that. I failed to envision such inane details all the time. Anyway, I put my trusty penknife skills to the test and manage to create this:
All of these images from Nylon Singapore. Can you believe that? Me neither. It was a pleasant surprise. The magazine had such a variety of things, I stopped looking for images before I even hit the halfway mark. And now I am left with 3 unused pieces. Well, initially it was 5 but I dissected 2 of the clothing items into the bottom 2 pieces of random image. Thank goodness for prints. Sigh. Now I can't bear with that extra 3 pieces because afterall, they took me a hella of time to carefully cut. I am still waiting for the glue to dry its second coat before I paint on the final coat to set everything in. It's so tedious, I can only do this once a year man. I would probably die if I make this a business. It was be on the headlines every now and then about how lazy and dishonest I am. Yawn, I'm so tired. But there is no more school. Only need to find time for studying. Which honestly isn't hard. But I am so tired. I am babbling. Sigh, I must be dead tired in my brains. Mannnnnnnnnn.
