  Admission

I had the great pleasure to watch Admission yesterday, thanks to the contest on Omy.sg. I usually don't have high hopes for any Paul Rudd movies but I really wanted to watch Tina Fey, just cause I love her so damn much. I honestly expected the movie to be a comedy with light-hearted issues accompanied with jokes but it was heavier. There was an indefinite ending instead of an all-well-ends-well. I was surprised, nonetheless. With this pair of people you would just expect laughter though I am pleasantly surprised with how real it was.

All the happenings and consequences are essentially what WOULD play out in life so I actually do enjoy the movie very much. It's a movie that tells the truth and god knows we all need the wakeup call by now. The ending did not provide a clear-cut happy ending but ended more in a idea that everything will be okay, eventually. It's refreshing to see that.

And Tina Fey looks so gorgeous in the movie, the stylist MUST love her. Even when she was supposed to look like a mess, something just doesn't scream it.

Oh, and I've got to applaud Omy.sg for ensuring a great movie experience for us. There were free popcorn and drink plus the people facilitating the queue was really friendly and pleasant. Kudos to that, since I was down the whole day thinking about the Boston explosions. Really appreciated their gestures.
