Though not literally

I caught up with my usual holidays routine for the past few days. I've been a tad too lazy to even move for the past few weeks, much less heading out of the house. I got used to rolling about my house in my comfy attire. I shan't describe to save a little dignity.

I baked some cookies which tasted surprisingly good. I'm not being judgmental with my cooking or baking skills but I don't usually expect much from a box mix so quality usually don't come in the package. But it did. So I am very proud of my choice.

Perfect balls of cookie dough thank you.

Not a bit wasted thank you.

That's how I spent the rainy Thursday afternoon.

I had my results back on Friday. Which I did just as how I expected, so I'm not worried or anything. I am pretty delighted, I would add because I was a tad afraid that my GPA might slip a little but it remained just right so I am happy. I got an unusual amount of B+ though which was pleasantly surprise because if it were up to me, I would definitely grade myself a B. But all in all, I met my expectations and I have no complaints.

Some other stuff were done but to be kept under wraps for a bit.

I spent today back at CTSS with the drama kids to check them out before they head off to SYF in two weeks time. I am so happy to help out in any way because they are all truly just diamonds that needs refining to shine in the spotlight. They are all little brats too though, because they are so helplessly playful. But you can't help being infected by their energy and passion. It's almost infectious.

Mr Mitch went back to assist their performance piece too and it really takes me back to 2 years ago when a bunch of nut heads like us fearlessly conquered the, technically, last SYF that is with Gold w/Honours, and got a Gold on the first try. It made me smile when Mr Mitch made they cry. Not in the sadistic way but he does do a good job with characterization that goes deep into your heart to a point you cry to get the overflowing emotions out. He is great, funny and great.

Speaking of funny, he was so surprised by how puberty hit Brenda it is almost offensive. He almost seem to need a second look at Brenda every time she is near him because "she's changed so much". I got so tired to trying to reason with him. I mean, puberty hit her. And well, it rocked. Puberty rocks. He got so wrapped up with that idea, that he suggested I do a production that features every great thing about puberty and the title of the production be "Puberty Rocks!" I'm so done.

I stayed for the entire thing which was, now looking back, a little crazy. I mean, it really had nothing to do with me since I've graduated ages ago. I guess I get attached to things that really changed me as a human being. I'm so melodramatic with my words, I wonder where I got that from.

Anyway now, I shall check out The New Normal since Mitch recommended it.
