He is a little hoarse.
I had terrible migraines yesterday which managed to set me back a few hours on my work. Yes I know that it is the holidays but I am still busy with things that doesn't involve school and neither do it with money. I have my sister being a pain in the butt for consecutive days and I know she probably would be reading this but I have angst to be splattered into words on this space.

But I am not good with words or angst so let's just leave it as that.

I got my head into the fashion season this time, immersing myself in the various pretty colours and textures coming down the runway. I still don't have a very fantastic sense of it but I do like what Zac Posen and Oscar de la Renta sent down the runway with. I mean, I recognise and am more familiar with those. I would wear DKNY's stuff and Jil Sander's but the rest don't scream to me as loud.

It's a great week though. Lotsa eye-candy to feast on. :3

Other than my virtual life, I got my butt off the net and went to the airport with John and Siying this week. No, none of us are flying off, we just figured that we should head there and steal the places where Secondary/JC students study just for the sake of it. And try to shop duty free because... Well I can't spin that...

Anyway, we spent a good afternoon there watching planes come and go, seeing people walking about, either going home or going overseas, shopping for tobaccos and liquors. The airport is really busy, but the atmosphere was exciting. The excitement in the people is infectious, really.

I have been more stressed than usual but for good reasons. Though I do snap at people who bugs me but hey, don't bother me ever, I get sassy. -snaps in z-formation-

Aside from that, I've just been baking non-stop. I need someone to sponsor me baking needs if I am going to have request man...

A hidden heart
I have my cake in the mug in the oven baking right now as I type. I baked the chocolate one yesterday and today I churned out the vanilla one. Yesterday one was way too chocolaty to relive over and over again.

I spent today doing stupid DIYs. Studding my pink shorts because I am finding excuse to wear it like it is something new. I get bored with my clothes very easily. It's a huge flaw because that just feeds my desire for more shopping trips and Singapore is not known to have sales 24/7 in the entire island. Anyway, I had Elementary on as I studded my shorts and it took less than 2 episodes and a very grumpy Alicia for it to be done. As much as I don't enjoy criminal shows or the fact that the Sherlock logic is very minor in the show, Elementary is growing on me and most of it is because of Lucy Liu. I think she is really cool, kicking ass and all. I think I'm starting to form a girl-crush on her because she just seem so freaking awesome. But I can't believe they kill the chances of an Irene Adler showing up at any point of the show. I love that character and it's such a pity to have her as the silent role.

Okay, other than that I just spent the entire day devoted to reading Sherlolly fanfiction one after another. Mainly because I found the most perfect writer and I am just hooked with her different series. I think fanfiction deepens everyone's OTPs. I, for one, only read them when I REALLY like the pairing and are basically obsessed with them. So far, that only gotten me to Mondler and Sherlolly. So, I'm not exactly the type of full-time fangirl as I give myself the title for. :/

Oh boy I have got to get a life. Or at least start reading the new Sherlock Holmes books I've borrowed from the library. The holiday clock is ticking.

And so is my oven. Back to the cakes.

Though not literally

I caught up with my usual holidays routine for the past few days. I've been a tad too lazy to even move for the past few weeks, much less heading out of the house. I got used to rolling about my house in my comfy attire. I shan't describe to save a little dignity.

I baked some cookies which tasted surprisingly good. I'm not being judgmental with my cooking or baking skills but I don't usually expect much from a box mix so quality usually don't come in the package. But it did. So I am very proud of my choice.

Perfect balls of cookie dough thank you.

Not a bit wasted thank you.

That's how I spent the rainy Thursday afternoon.

I had my results back on Friday. Which I did just as how I expected, so I'm not worried or anything. I am pretty delighted, I would add because I was a tad afraid that my GPA might slip a little but it remained just right so I am happy. I got an unusual amount of B+ though which was pleasantly surprise because if it were up to me, I would definitely grade myself a B. But all in all, I met my expectations and I have no complaints.

Some other stuff were done but to be kept under wraps for a bit.

I spent today back at CTSS with the drama kids to check them out before they head off to SYF in two weeks time. I am so happy to help out in any way because they are all truly just diamonds that needs refining to shine in the spotlight. They are all little brats too though, because they are so helplessly playful. But you can't help being infected by their energy and passion. It's almost infectious.

Mr Mitch went back to assist their performance piece too and it really takes me back to 2 years ago when a bunch of nut heads like us fearlessly conquered the, technically, last SYF that is with Gold w/Honours, and got a Gold on the first try. It made me smile when Mr Mitch made they cry. Not in the sadistic way but he does do a good job with characterization that goes deep into your heart to a point you cry to get the overflowing emotions out. He is great, funny and great.

Speaking of funny, he was so surprised by how puberty hit Brenda it is almost offensive. He almost seem to need a second look at Brenda every time she is near him because "she's changed so much". I got so tired to trying to reason with him. I mean, puberty hit her. And well, it rocked. Puberty rocks. He got so wrapped up with that idea, that he suggested I do a production that features every great thing about puberty and the title of the production be "Puberty Rocks!" I'm so done.

I stayed for the entire thing which was, now looking back, a little crazy. I mean, it really had nothing to do with me since I've graduated ages ago. I guess I get attached to things that really changed me as a human being. I'm so melodramatic with my words, I wonder where I got that from.

Anyway now, I shall check out The New Normal since Mitch recommended it.

Prowl like the lion
Modern Family stole my heart this very delightful morning with the most amazing two episodes back to back. Just when I thought it can't possibly outdo the previous episodes, it just keep getting better and better. I love that show to bits. The only decent show on the air that keeps me happy and smiling all the time.

No offense to Happily Divorced, Up All Night, Community, The Mindy Project, Go On, Guys With Kids, 30 Rock or 2 Broke Girls. Holy cow, I watch A LOT of shows at the moment. And I do them all. So to the rest not mentioned here, I hate your show (Glee) or I simply don't watch it (NCIS, CSI, Parks And Recreations, The Office).

I still have yet to unfollow the Glee tumblr sites though, I couldn't bring myself to end my unfulfilled relationship with Klaine and Klainers.

I just made some cupcakes and I am beat. Oh gosh that's funny.

And because I made them in the middle of this post, I kinda forgot what I was going to say or what was going through my mind. So let me babble on. The laptop is dying soon anyway.

I baked from a cake mix and they are not sitting on the racks chilling. I am hoping the ants don't get to it faster than I do but I can't control their unruly behaviour towards boundaries. So I'm pretty much fucked if I enter a post that is too long.

I had the most mediocre days and I appreciate it big time. I enjoy waking up and making plans only then as I lay on the bed satisfying my reluctant body. I appreciate the time to myself where I procrastinate. I honestly rarely do that but I have been holding off the "Read books" reminder in my phone for more than a month now. And I'm not intending to start soon too. :P That's horrid of me. I have read a lot of book borrowed from the library but those that I have in my bookshelf for months are as virgin as Mary. I have not touch them at all.

Okay I blame all my slackness on my period. >:) Cause I can.

And school is starting in a few days. It's making me nervous and lazy. I really don't want my time taken away from me. I have yet to truly enjoy the holidays! :( Stupid plans that didn't work out.

On the other hand, I finally touched some of my movies that I have been saving for so long. A Single Man and Marie Antoinette. They are pretty movies. Just, pretty movies. Perhaps only for artistic appreciation purposes. But hey, not complaining.

I had a lot of tea this past holiday... I'm getting a little too health-tea. I don't know what's into me and puns today I'm sorry, but I'm not usually like this.

I learnt how to path from scratch using Illustrator. So it's not like I learnt nothing or earned nothing from this holiday that contributes something to my course. I got in touch with my Cpop roots. Rare. I know.

I found out that I have not watched a full Taiwanese Drama serial that was made/released these past three years. Sure, I watched the first episode of that Taiwanese remake of Absolute Boyfriend but I had the Japanese one haunting at the back of my mind with each scene that I eventually gave up trying to watch it. I am terrible. I can never be a DJ with this dated knowledge.

Not that I want to.

I did watch couple variety shows here and there, but not consistently. Sigh, I am capable of zilch.

My manicured nails are chipping in the most discreet manner. Little chips at each corner on each fingers. Really struggling on whether to remove them completely altogether. Apparently if the chipping is induced by us, some sort of natural vitamin is chipped away too. Boy, that's a struggle.

Okay the post is getting long and my cupcakes should be cooled by now.
