  Pitch perfect

Pale blue sweater
This week brought me to near insanity with the sudden outburst of projects with blurred deadline. It seriously reminded me to organise the fuck down. Right now, everything is on track, provided my group mates are willing to finish and give me their work by the deadline I assigned so we won't fluster.

Nonetheless, I took time to do something other than work by catching Pitch Perfect with Sam. I took the time right after school on Thursday to spend a few good hours with her. Just so I can feel like before and appreciate the existence of another being who isn't stressed out so bad that all they speak about is how stressed they are.

It was insanely hilarious.

Rebel Wilson has been my new comedy girl crush after Kristen Wiig on Bridesmaid, so you know for sure the movie would be hilarious. And she won my heart after being on talkshows and talking like she is the funniest worm alive.

But the break-out star for me, in my heart, is Anna Kendrick. I always kind of liked her. She is really lucky to have the most insignificant role in Twilight to have been forgotten by people so they do not label her as the "Twilight girl". Kinda like the reverse of Robert Pattinson.

I did watch her on 50/50 and her performance was fine, but there was Joseph Gordon Levitt to ogle over, so she didn't appeal that much anymore. I never watched Up In The Air. I'm not much of a Clooney-watcher as I presumed myself to be, even though I did watch him run in flip-flops in The Descendants.

But Anna Kendrick, being the lead star, definitely shone enough to capture people's attention. She's really pretty with grungy make-up.

Anyway, the OST is officially stuck in my head and they aren't even the best singer in the world. I guess it's just cause the mash-ups are so mind-blowing to be ignored.

Other than that I managed to shop. I did not shop the sales in Cotton On or H&M because of money and school, which surprised even me. I bought a whole bunch of stuff online this time instead.

Cause I hate the word "late"
I watched too much movies for my own good. I completed West Side Story and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yesterday all at a go. And the previous post, the one about the top 3 favourite movies, I probably spent about twenty minutes consolidating all the movies I love and trying my best to list them. I gave up eventually and just pick one from each catergory. I can't choose, it's like Sophie's Choice. Oh crap that wasn't in my top three? Oh shit.

I really love those two movies I watched yesterday, I think I might just add that to my list of favourite movies.

I have received emails from both English and Chinese Drama Club. I am given the gift to choose! :D But I think I'll pick English Drama, simply because there is Improvisation and I always liked that. CTDrama did it for the first few weeks but stopped when SYF preparation begun. I didn't protest against that though I really liked the experience of creating my own piece and having the freedom to make full use of my imagination. :D

Oh also the Improv is a sub-club and they meet up every Friday for two hours only. Other CCA usually go for three hours into the night. Which is like 10pm. And that is like Debate Club. Debate always put a huge neon sign in my head that goes, "Luke... Tan Jia Hui..." and all the names whom the person spoke in a completely different language I struggled to understand throughout my years in the same class with them.

Looking forward! And fingers crossed I can get out of Chinese Drama. :D

Gotta wake up at 7.30am tomorrow while others are already having their assembly in school. But I heard that the jams are notorious when 8am arrives. Fingers crossed! Don't want to be late on the first lesson, that's more than embarrassing. Also I hope there isn't that crazy woman I saw on the last day of orientation in my class, she scares the bejesus out of me.

I have this huge obsession with Kristen Wiig and Jennifer Lawrence now.

  Questionaires for the bored souls

I got my Vanity Fair and I regret nothing

  1. Three favourite movies:
    1. Chicago
    2. Slumdog Millionaire
    3. Hercules
  2. I love drugs, I can't get enough of Panadols.
  3. I don't have much memorable sexual fantasies I have to say, but I do have a couple of of romantic ones. I usually get tired after I get together with the guy that I give up about anything else. Yeah, I'm even lazy in my fantasies.
  4. Fuck Leonardo DiCaprio. Marry Matthew Perry. Kill Chris Brown.
  5. Gosh, so many.
    • "To die would be an awfully big adventure" - Peter Pan
    • "If you dont have any shadows you're not in the light" - Lady Gaga
    • "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times" - Dumbledore
    • Once you figure out who you are and what you love about yourself, I think it all kinda falls into place” - Jennifer Aniston
    • "I wish every woman would love herself and embrace what she was given naturally" - Queen Latifah
    • "You make me happier than I ever thought I could be" - Chandler Bing
    • "If you run away from a thing just because you don't like it, you don't like what you find either" - The Chrysalids
    • Okay I need to stop before this goes out of hand.
  6. My son's name would be RIchard (Or maybe Vincent). My daughter's name would be Ally (I had that picked out since two years ago)
  7. Food. That's a complete no brainer.
  8. Gotye. Adele (Yes, still). Young the Giants. Fleetwood Mac. Kelly Clarkson.
  9. I have been on this post for about an hour. And... Erm... I've got my Vanity Fair, like finally, after visiting Holland Village three weeks in a row.
  10. I think I'm an eye-person.
  11. Paris. But purely for travelling.
  12. Something absolutely spontaneous. Surprise me or I'll get bored with three course meals.
  13. Mind-reading.
  14. Singapore Sling? Or maybe Margherita.
  15. Wow that just pin-pointed the pathetic part about my life.
  16. People lying to me and allowing loopholes in their story, causing me to find out.
  17. I rather like Alicia. Ever since young, though I'm not a huge fan of my name, I never thought of a name good enough to change to. So I think Alicia is a perfect fit for me.
  18. Pizza. Cause the toppings get to change. Oh and so does the crust.
